New Teacher Appointed

Immanuel Lutheran Church and School is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Gregory Chudy to our teaching staff. Mr. Chudy received the Bachelor of Arts degree in History and the Master in Teaching degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from the University of Virginia. Mr. Chudy’s teaching experience has ranged from tutoring children of immigrant and homeless families to managing an education program for youth ages 5 – 18 for the 4-H to teaching American History and Civics units at Western Albemarle High School in Crozet, VA. Mr. Chudy is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Ancient Greek. His professional qualifications include the Virginia Teacher Licensure with endorsement in Social Studies Education. He is a member of St. Athanasius Lutheran Church in Vienna.

On September 4, 2007, Immanuel Lutheran School will begin its 63rd year of providing outstanding education that is distinctly Christian. We are committed to continuing and expanding our classical academy approach, including instruction in Latin, mathematics, grammar, writing, history, and science.
